Budget gaming setup: monitor + PC parts under PKR 150k
A balanced parts list with locally available GPUs, IPS monitors and PSUs that won't burn out after the first LAN party.
Building a gaming PC in Pakistan is challenging due to import taxes and limited availability. Here's a balanced build that prioritizes actual gaming performance over flashy RGB.
The PKR 150,000 Build
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 - PKR 25,000
Still the gaming sweet spot. 6 cores, 12 threads, and excellent single-core performance for most games.
GPU: RX 6600 or GTX 1660 Super - PKR 45,000
The RX 6600 offers better ray tracing, but the 1660 Super is more readily available in Pakistan.
Motherboard: B550M - PKR 18,000
Any reputable B550M board works. We recommend Gigabyte or MSI for local warranty support.
RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz - PKR 8,000
Don't overspend here. Any dual-channel kit works fine.
Storage: 512GB NVMe SSD - PKR 7,000
Kingston NV2 or WD SN570 are great budget options available in Pakistan.
PSU: 550W 80+ Bronze - PKR 10,000
NEVER cheap out on the PSU. Antec, Deepcool, or Corsair are safe bets.
Case: Any ATX Mid-Tower - PKR 7,000
Focus on airflow over RGB. Deepcool Matrexx series is popular locally.
Monitor: 24" IPS 144Hz - PKR 30,000
Viewsonic VX2418 or AOC 24G2 offer excellent value. Avoid cheap 165Hz VA panels.
Where to Buy
- Hall Road, Lahore: Best prices, but verify warranty
- Regal Chowk, Karachi: Good selection
- Computer Plaza, Islamabad: Convenient but slightly expensive
Performance Expectations
This build handles most games at 1080p 60+ FPS on high settings. Expect 100+ FPS in esports titles like Valorant and CS2.
